Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Area Manager and Care Manager the incumbent provides direct, indirect and non-patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. The Therapy Assistant works collaboratively with members of the Integrated Home Care program, supporting client care for clients living in the community. There is also an expectation to be a mobile worker. This role requires travel within the city of Calgary including caring for clients in their homes or in the community. Possession of a valid drivers’ license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related purposes is a requirement of this position. You will be responsible to carry and move equipment, use and operate a laptop computer and mobile phone, and for manual handling (lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing and pulling) as a regular part of the job.
