About The Bowen HospitalBowen Hospital is comprised of 20 beds and 9 bed alternatives chemotherapy chair and renal dialysis , 24/7 emergency acute and subacute inpatients unit and outpatient services and provides the following health services:Acute inpatient care, including 4 monitored inpatient beds;Accident and emergency;Community and primary healthcare;Mental Health outreachPalliative inpatient care;Outreach specialists from Mackay and Townsville including orthopaedics and endocrinology;Maternity and women’s services, with both medical and midwife models; antenatal postnatal EDMS contraception servicesAcute beds may be occupied by long-term nursing home residents, due to lack of available beds in the community;Allied Health including physiotherapy, , occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, pharmacist radiographers, and outreach dietician .Nurse navigator and community Liaison NurseChild health services including immunisation.Medical Imaging CT, Xray, Ultrasound and OPG for inpatients emergency presentations and booked outpatient.Salary BenefitsRemuneration value up to $154,716.40 p.a. comprising salary between $4,458.40 p.f. – $5,169.20 p.f. (L4 – L9), or remuneration value up to $147,021.75 p.a. comprising salary between $4,458.40 p.f. – $4,910.70 p.f.
